Here at The Umbrella Project take our Independent Negroni Kit very seriously, so seriously we don’t spend ages on it. C rafted by a renowned artisanal distillery nestled in the heart of northwest Italy, these master distillers have been perfecting their spirits since 1890. So when we set off to find one that delivered incredible flavour at incredible value for money, we had to go to the experts.

When you come in, you can find your new favourite bottle at our tasting counter, hire glasses, flutes and chiller bins free* and pick up some ice. A distillery huddled into the hills of Italy’s Piemonte region, its history spans four generations across which recipes have been passed since the 1890s. The Cocktail Society are a team of cocktail obsessives who want to elevate drinking culture in the UK and beyond. The cocktails were absolutely delicious and set us up for a really fun evening – we ended up drinking all 5 over a 4 hour zoom. An alternative theory of how the Negroni was born is linked to General Pascal Olivier de Negroni, who served in the Franco-Prussian war in the late 1800’s.
