About this deal

It kinda reminds me a little of cliniqe happy only a little less fruity and more woody and im definately getting the vetiver note. She was before a walled city, with towers at each corner and a curved gate the size of a small mountain open before her. When I first opened the bottle I thought that this was exclusivly masculine, and gave to my husband. I love the watermelon scent - I wish it lingered longer and yeah if this was a stronger aquatic scent I could've loved it. uk is owned and provided by Health Pharm Leciester Limited a company incorporated in England and Wales under the company number 6072635.

Whatever it was soon wore off and this smells as nice as I remembered it in March when it was warmer. On the broad level, the Magician is interpreted with energy, potential, and the manifestation of one's desires; the card symbolizes the meetings of the physical and spiritual worlds (" as above, so below") and the conduit converting spiritual energy into real-world action. If you were going to try seducing anyone with this however, you'd better get a move on, because it doesn't last very long. Similarly, the table he stands behind has three legs rather than four; the fourth leg is interpreted as being outside the card, a metafictional statement that "[i]t is by going beyond the stage of possibilities and moving into the reality of action and choice that The Magician gives concrete expression to his situation".

I agree with others: it's more of a masculine scent, but as a woman I have to say it's one of my favourites. A good fragrance but tends to be common, cool, nice, good for nothing more than for daily use fragrance. In The House of the Dead, each of its bosses in the mainline series are named after the Major Arcana Tarot Cards (excluding The Devil.

The woodsy cedar and birch notes make up the heart of Le Bateleur, with the drydown bringing hints of spicy cardamom and a whiff or two of smoky frankincense. To Pollack, the Magician is a metaphysical lightning rod, channeling macrocosmic energy into the microcosm. A particularly important interpretation of the reversed Magician relates to the speculated connection between the experiences recognized in archaic societies as shamanism and those recognized in technological societies as schizophrenia; the reversed Magician is perceived as symbolizing the degree to which those experiences and abilities are unrecognized and suppressed, and the goal is to turn the card 'upright', or re-focus those experiences into their positive form. The fragrances of this collection were named: Le Bateleur 1 (Tyson Ballou), L’Imperatrice 3 (Naomi Campbell), L’Amoureaux 6 (Noah Mills), La Roue de la Fortune 10 (Eva Herzigova and Fernando Fernandes), La Lune 18 (Claudia Schiffer).

It starts out smelling like a typical cheap commercial perfume loaded with aquatic notes that ride on top of the same stereotyped super-synthetic woody-plasticky base that’s in so many other cheap commercial “men’s” perfumes. E. Waite's 1910 book Pictorial Key To The Tarot, the Magician card is associated with the divine motive in man. Tyson Ballou is the model representing Le Bateleur and it works because he is also a cool glass of water on a hot day. The earliest known tarot card decks date to the early 1400s, and for several centuries they were used simply as game cards, becoming associated with divination only after the 1780s. I agree with the previous comments made about a melon like accord right in the top notes, something very sweet and watery that's a lot like watermelon rind.In JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the character Muhammad Avdol wields the pyrokinetic Stand named after The Magician, Magician's Red. Update December 30, 2015: I put this on just a little while ago, and for about the first ten minutes I smelled something that vaguely saddened me. It’s the perfect size to go under one of the sconces in the hallway leading to our offices, and it looks pretty damned good. Rather than flowers, the Magician of the Marseilles deck is depicted with a small plant between his feet. Provocative and playful - ragingly passionate, yet enviably cool - this is a man who gets what he wants.
