About this deal

They’re also both dealing with some pretty challenging personal history that makes neither of them interested in any kind of relationship. It was also nice to see them get to know each other on different levels and watch their feeling naturally progress for each other. Reading about Jade was sad how she tries to enjoy and tries to act like nothing happens because she doesn’t want to worry her friends and her brother. Book one was filled with emotion, secrets and angst and that continues in book two, but this time those secrets are revealed and it’s time for both Jade and Prescott to heal and have a chance at life and love. He was gorgeous, with wide shoulders, a chiseled jaw hidden behind a week's worth of scruff, and the meanest glare I've seen in my life.

They're truly as epic as I knew they would be and I would be lying if I said I wasn't utterly and deeply ✨️ obsessed ✨️ with them and this book! I could keep on rambling for hours about how much I loved it but I know it wouldn't do it justice, and I'd end up spoiling it out for you so I'll let you experience it for yourselves! It’s well-paced storytelling with dual POVs that heightened the MCs thought process and emotions, and incorporated internal monologue.Jade is Prescott's best friend's little sister which means she's always been off limits but that has never been a problem until now!

There are way too many random people that I got lost knowing all of Jades friends and it made the book confusing. Jade and Prescott are two characters I had always thought would only play minor roles; secondary characters who helped create the world-building centring around a group of friends navigating through college, but after reading this book my mind is completely reeling at the fact that it was so not the case. Before I start I want to suggest that you don't watch the trigger warnings in this book just out of curiosity, I did and that part of Anna B. Some of the characters I already knew from previous books in this amazing series ❤ the two leads felt too real to be fictional and that makes my heart ache at the idea of saying goodbye 💔 I knew Anna was good at what she did because I'd read her books before, but I can firmly state that in this duology she freaking outdone herself! What is it about a hate can’t stand you but I really find you extremely hot romance that I really enjoy you may ask.

What I love more about this book is that the main characters are dealing with different situations, we get to see how they face it and I wonder how can they survive it as the story progress. Then you have Prescott who is addicted to pain killers, has a brother who died of cancer and a dad whose a dick along with a mom who is so emotionally abused by her husband that she doesn’t love her son properly. He is no stranger to tragedy as he faced many hardships including a career suffering ACL injury leaving him on the bench. The pressure got up to a point where he had to take a drastic measure which led him to lose the love of his life.Jade and Prescott both have life experiences that have shaped who they are today and how they are handling what life throws at them. You can find the full list of trigger warnings (which can contain spoilers) on my webpage: https://www. For readers who have been following the series, you will love getting caught up with all of the characters in the previous books. An interesting read so far and I can't wait to read what happens with her and Prescott as their story continues. The tension between them, how they start spending time together cause they enjoy each other’s company, obviously no one knows about them.

This is my favourite in this series so far with Jade and Prescott, a couple who are definitely made for each other in every way…. A heartbreaking, emotional and angsty read, this brother’s best friend, sports romance features Blairwood University’s Jade and Prescott. An amusing mistake soon turns into a lovely exchange of anonymous notes, little acts of kindness, and a growing affection between two strangers. This was pretty emotional and dealt with alot of the topics that I had issues with in the first book. Since this is the first book in the duet, I’m hesitant to say much about it, because I don’t want to accidentally spoil something.Kiss to shatter is book six within the blairwood uni world and the first half of a duet following jade and Preston.
