About this deal

I found them to be the most comfortable in a group of competitors’ tool bags loaded with the same tools, despite the Husky weighing 7 pounds unloaded (compared to the other bags weighing roughly 2 to 3 pounds). The standard that I use to determine whether or not a tool bag is good for the long term is the crawl space test.

There are side pockets designed to hold hand tools, flashlights, multimeters, or anything that you’d want to have quick access to. It features high-density nylon insidethe belt to provide strength to stitching and stress points, as well as double metal buckets. They’re also pretty small in size, so this will limit your space for larger power tools and result in purchasing an additional tool pouch or supplement bag (like the Husky 12 inch) to carry everything else you need. It holds more than I really want to walk around with and everything is very well laid out and accessible. Who cares if you can’t get the exact same bag there will be one that’s close and hey maybe go with that homer bucket for a few months until the next batch rolls out.

I’m really happy with the tool bag I have that fits perfectly in my rolling DeWalt ToughSystem tool box so I don’t have to roll it all the way in from my truck. It features outside and inside pockets for hand tool storage and a rugged zipper to prevent tool loss. There’s only one good way to test a tool bag, and that’s by loading it up with a typical collection of DIY tools and putting it through the paces—which is exactly what I did. BagPro’s electrician’s rolling tool backpack has a semi-rigid structure, retro-reflective stripes, label holders, adjustable straps and a telescopic handle. It somewhat surprises me to see Husky as the most visible brand of tool storage bag, at least in my experience.

Pro series large-mouth bag features a sturdy design that opens completely for ease of access to tools and equipment. Ideal Industries’ Pro Series large-mouth bag features a sturdy design that opens completely for easy access to tools and equipment. I’m working on a really fun collaboration project with the Shanty 2 Chic sisters (more on that soon! There’s even two small pouches that can fit small terminating screwdrivers, pens, pencils, markers, or drill bits on the top flaps. But I use these as luggage, as storage for my bike stuff (helmet, clothes, shoes, and a few tools all fit in the 24″ red standard tool bag). It attaches to a body belt or harness using connection straps that are equipped with plastic quick-lock buckles. After 2 or 3 years I don’t feel bad getting a new one when it’s smeared with no noalox, scotch guard and mud .

p>This extremely robust Husky quality Tool Bag will last you many years of use. The bags are cheap enough so that I’ll just get one or two extra if I think I might want to expand “the set” down the road. Once you start rolling it around though the weight disappears; it’s really only an issue when lifting.
