The Fujifilm XF 23mm F2 R WR delivers a 35mm full-frame equivalent field of view and stands out due to its small size and weather-resistant build. The effect is ever so subtle but the more the light changes in a scene the more apparent the difference becomes using the filter and I find the effect quite pleasing. You can also use them in other ways according to your preferences – as creativity is the only limit here. And it’s not like we try to create what we had in the past, it’s just how we see the world and would like to portray it. Tiffen also offers white halation filters, such as the regular Pro-Mist filters or the Glimmerglass, that provide a similar look, but Moment filters are just as durable and currently less expensive.It’s thin enough that you can stack the CineBloom under another filter without compromising the field of view. I still think they add something by smoothing the highlights from the building, and raising the dark shadows. Soften wrinkles, blemishes, and pores while maintaining skin tone values, making wrinkles less noticeable.
