Nothing could taste more nostalgic than this lovely whipped dessert and we sell so many different flavours! Why the cake wasn't placed on a board though is anyones guess - It can hardly look presentable when it's just sat in a plastic tray.

With the Flake pieces on top and sprinkling of curls, a final chocolatey hit came to round things off perfectly - Yum!Beat together the eggs, flour, caster sugar, butter and baking powder until smooth in a large mixing bowl. There are thin lines of chocolate cream running through the sponge itself which add to that moistness – as well as giving it an added chocolate hit. We have Food Doctor, Biona, Tesco Free From, NAKD bars plus a range of gluten free cooking ingredients from Doves Farm, Amisa and Bobs Red Mill to name just a few. After I’d attached four birthday candles, lit them, blown them out and removed them again (yes, yes, I know…) I cut myself a slice. This celebration cake is ready to serve so you can simply cut it up and enjoy, or add some candles first for that extra-special finish if you can wait that long!

The cake itself is not as chocolatey as I would have liked, it is light as a feather however is a little on the dry side. Us Chocabloggers tend to work alone most of the time, so it’s difficult to justify shelling out for an entire cake just for a review.
