About this deal

Sillage and longevity were quite poor as far as I can remember, it turned into skin scent after short time of spraying, but it was a nice scent though. I am reminded of Salvatore Ferragamo a bit with its juicy, pelargonium heart, yet the green tea note and vetiver in BPH is more-obvious, the woods and clean musk supporting the serene, carefree quality. Neither of these is my absolute favorite for summer, but I CAN afford them and they're classier than I am. Aldehydes add an airiness (as opposed to an expanding sparkle) while orange and bergamot add the needed citricity (and not a drop more) to attenuate the tea and petit grain; as they perfectly dissolve into leaf-tinged powdery floral notes of lavender and neroli closing a veritable perfect circle of clean, sans any of the usual soapy associations. If it had a little better potency/ longevity, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a niche fragrance because of the quality of notes and composition.

Ginger’s one of them where if you ain’t careful with it you can turn anythin’ into the least talented Spice Girl. it was probably because I was sniffin it up close on my wrist but if it was on a person passing by me and it was not over done. Blv settles into a lovely mix of green notes within a lovely warm, woody base and a little galanga and jasmine mixing with the ginger. It starts with a lovely tea note, along with the other florals, later it develops into a faint musky green floral scent. Bvlgari's romance with tea in perfumes begins with the now iconic Bvlgari Au Parfumee The Vert, composed by J.It is worth mentioning that lasts long and the quality of the fragrance in terms of the considerable harmony of the notes is very good. This scent develops really well on skin and fabric, I love the clean white musk in the base, it makes it sweet and clean, the vetiver surprisingly doesn't make it smell dirty. Since I first put my nose on it 19 years ago, I've had experiences with many of the fragrance genres available in the market, including designer and niche. I have heard that the original formulation had much better tea notes and more performance, but I have a 2020 bottle, so that is what I am reviewing.

Starting with a pointed but translucent whipcrack of citrus, tea and (primarily) pepper, it quickly morphs into something softer - particularly the watery muguet and grey/white musk scent enter the scene. A strong B, tedering on an A, but not quite there because of the rather dissapointing Notte flanker. The Oak moss and coriander play nicely with the sweeter notes to lend more depth without surpassing them. In the far drydown, the core of musk and cedar glows as it serves as a balancing point for the sweetness of amber (translucent amber is listed on Bvlgari's site) and *one single small?I don't dislike it - it's simple and comforting - but I think I'll be sticking to Prada's Amber pour Homme for my go-to soapy smell. Lavender, spice, tonka and still that vetiver (listed as a basenote but it's pure vetiver in the opening, if you ask me).

Also, almost nothing (apart from the other BLV fragrances) comes close to this, so this is an unique smell as well.Longevity is great -- beyond 12 hours on my skin -- and it stays close to the skin after about eight hours.
