About this deal
The training is harsh and thorough, and those who pass the rigorous schedule will earn their wings and become a part of an elite fighting force. When they had panzers and artillery attached, they were difficult to stop without a layered defence in depth. Fury gives players the option to pick up and build a handful of Late War tanks and get them onto the tabletop as quickly as possible to try out the basic mechanics of Flames Of War. The Fortress Europe book has also revealed the contents of the new starter armies and they are much bigger than the Mid War versions, with guns, tanks and infantry in them. In short I can see splitting the set being a popular option and with only two boxes you have a rounded force ready for the battlefield.
Ammuntion bearers were critical to machine gun teams, just look at the pictures taken in those days. Thats 99 pts packing elite tanks and a infantry formation that gives you the flexibility to attack or defend locking down your objectives in meeting engagements while your armour goes on the attack. I use 2p for SL, 1p for JL, and 20mm squares (same size as pennies, but different shape) or 20x40 rectangles for squaddies.I think 4th in an improvement in terms of stremalining the rules, but I think BF have dropped the ball big time with their decision to consolidate their miniatures offerings.
Warlord have done a fantastic job in supporting Bolt Action, and allowing players options for customisation and personalising their armies, like FoW turned it's back on. We don’t have enough points left for the large version with two Greyhounds, but we can take the smaller one Greyhound version for 3 points.Even as the din swallows your shouting, you see a trooper levelling his rocket launcher at the great beast’s tracks. The Allies get an Initial bombardment so all deployed teams take an attack roll, with a standard allowed save. As the Boot Camp and D-Day approaches, we get a look at two of the Starter Sets which are landing for Flames Of War.
