Great Why oh why have I never bought this before it’s fantastic, goes on beautifully and gives a good coverage. Housed in a beautiful gold and silver compact featuring the iconic Red Door to reflect Elizabeth Arden's New York roots, this modern compact is also perfect for travel and on-the-go touch ups. Plus as the cost of the compact is expensive for someone like me on a pension I don't use it every day, but I'd like to. I've tried other foundations from time to time but always come back to FF Sponge On Cream Foundation.

But disappointed these days that there isn’t an option to purchase refills instead of a whole new compact but perhaps that’s something that can be considered. Shade 06 toasty beige is better suited to brunettes and not blonde/fair skinned ladys in my opinion being a make-up artist. I have sensitive skin but have never, since being introduced to it way back in 1983, had a problem with this foundation. Through the years I have tried various foundations, Christian Dior, Lancôme, Estee Lauder to name a few but none of their ranges matched my skin colour as perfectly as this and also most of them gave my skin minor irritations.I have tried Elizabeth Arden’s newly repackaged Flawless Finish but in my opinion this one, in the black case, is the winner hands-down every time.
