Description

Matured in former Bourbon casks with a Tawny Port cask finish, Dingle Grianstad an Gheimhridh Single Malt expresses aromas of blackcurrant jelly, pomegranate, cinnamon toast and warm ginger on the nose. Dingle Gin attended the World Gin Awards 2019, where industry experts shortlisted the best gins from 400 entrants from 20 countries. This gin is made in small batches of 500 litres, ensuring that each bottle is of the highest quality possible.

In terms of its broad style, this is what is categorised as a London dry gin but the unique character and flavour come from our painstaking and original choice of botanicals. The sixth release was aged exclusively in tawny port casks, which gives the whiskey more depth and sweetness. Juniper and orange zest work together to introduce the drink and by the end you’ll be enjoying cracked black pepper in a clean, long finish. The spirit is collected at 70% abv and then cut to 40% abv using the purest of water which they draw from our own well, 240 feet below the distillery.

It’s a formula unknown elsewhere and is calculated, amongst other things, to create the sense of place and provenance. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously. This is both frustrating for us (as it's our favourite) and a strong testament to how great the gin is! Please always read the labels, warnings, and directions provided with the product before using or consuming a product. Vintage images - these normally work really well as they are black and white and already work with brightness / contrast.

Botanicals including rowan berry from the mountain ash trees, fuchsia, bog myrtle, hawthorn and heather for a taste of the Kerry landscape. The driver will input your year of birth into their device and may then require an ID check to complete the age verification process. Their aim was to create a totally unique gin, one which worked within the great tradition of gin distilling but which also came with a degree of innovation. This is their Cotswolds Dry Gin, made with juniper, coriander and angelica root macerated in their pure wheat spirit for 24 hours. Made with water from the distillery’s own well and infused with local botanicals such as rowan berries from the mountain ash trees, fuchsia, bog myrtle, heather and hawthor, it’s a true taste of the Kerry landscape. The bottle itself is rather pretty too which is handy as my daughter is collecting them for centre pieces at her wedding next year! We hope we've answered your question but if we haven't please don't hesitate to get in touch with us via the CONTACT page. Juicy and sweet with authentic summer berry notes, followed by fresh herbs (think mint leaf and fennel).

They are not prepared to reveal their recipe but are happy to give some idea of what is involved in creating the unique flavour profile of Dingle Original Gin. Celebrate a birthday, Christmas, wedding or anniversary, thank you gifts for your bridesmaids or best man, or just the perfect way of saying Happy Mother’s or Father’s Day.While we aim as much as possible to have images showing which offer a current representation of the product, due to rapid and often unadvised changes in packaging/vintage, product images are for illustration purposes only and cannot be used as an exact representation of what is available. Amongst other botanicals, rowan berry from the mountain ash trees, fuchsia, bog myrtle, hawthorn and heather for a taste of the Kerry landscape. The Dingle Whiskey Distillery was crafted and conceived by three independent spirits: Oliver Hughes; Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley were the three men behind the first independent Irish distillery for 150 years. This is a lovely gin, it arrived quickly in very good packaging - there was no way it was ever going to be damaged.
