The name describes it perfectly, I cannot and do not want to pick out individual notes, it is perfect as a whole and is quite unique. I remember standing at the perfume counter with my mom as a girl and oooh'ing and ahhh'ing this provoking perfume! After smelling it on me I actually like it, because the fruitiness starts becoming noticable as the chemicals tone down. Side note: I have a little L'Artisan Bucoliques de Provence left on my arm from earlier today, and it's mixing with BP to make the most gorgeous freshly powdered after a shower scent.

I’m always amazed by Estée Lauder’s scents but this one particularly stands out for me beside Pure White Linen 💞 so fresh so elegant . Not even enough power for my husband to smell it, and the scent had vanished completely after 2 hours, smashing my wrist into my face delivered exactly no smell. It becomes increasingly woody and musky as it fades, with remnants of the powdery florals remaining until final fade. I have no words to describe this amazing fragrance but every time you wear it it's like you live your own fairytale .The accord “Eden’s Mist” is supposed to be based on the scent of the air inside one of the Eden Project’s domes.

I also love how this fragrance isn't overbearing and won't invade other's space, but leaves a nice cool aura around me. BP has a richness that underlies the florals, not exactly skank but something not entirely good girl, either. As the sillage and longevity are both significant, this is one to apply about an hour before your entrance.

I can see why this was discontinued and if this smells close to the original like they say, I can’t imagine how people liked this back then either, pretty bottle or not. It has the signature Estee Lauder musky aldehydes and longevity, and it is quite a tropical floral mix, so perhaps more appropriate in summer; one can imagine the beach, the sarong and the flower behind the ear. I am definitely giving this away, and I would love to gift it to someone who can enjoy and appreciate it. It's a heavier scent - there's both a creaminess that comes with white floral fragrances and I get ALOT of honeysuckle, too.

Pack your imaginary bags with the most expensive exotic designer bikini and floaty wrap you wish you had and let down your beautiful, glossy, luxuriant hair. I can only repeat what sherapop said: "thick, gooey fruits mashed together with artificial tropical flowers to produce an olfactory goulash of sorts. The notes don’t veer off in any one direction stopping short of going too sweet, too wet, or too flowery, like a pendulum that never reaches the outer edges by swinging wide, but maintains a tight orbit in the middle, does that imply some type of stability? I bought it as part of a box set with Pleasures and Pleasures Intense, and I find all of them really dreadful, harsh, synthetic and headache-inducing.I've learned long ago to wait a fragrance out, and this didn't disappoint as the dry down is lovely and lasts all day on me. Top notes are Hyacinth, Orange Blossom, Grapefruit, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Jasmine, Gardenia, Honeysuckle and Orchid; base notes are Hibiscus, Plum Wood, Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and Amber.

I can't really say much more, except that this is a really complex fragrance, but overall so pleasing and relaxed. The first smell put me off a lot, I was even repiulsed for about 15 minutes by how strong the florals are. While the opening held promise, with a limpid resinousness reminiscent of and, in terms of quality, on a par with Banana Republic's creations, the drydown I find quite intolerable. What I like about floral scents is the creaminess, the waxy smell of petals, which is part of the extracted oils and absolutes. My favourite perfume (creation by Ted Lapidus) does smell strongly of bergamot, like this one, although that is not the only resaon why I like it so much.Old Herbaceous: Given that my first impression is of exotic flowers growing in a conservatory, I think my nose is actually picking up on “Eden’s Mist”. It had a huge aquatic top note, as I remember it, and in those days I hated all aquatics although I've since come to a moderate appreciation of them. I have decided this will be my wedding perfume and will look at getting a couple of back ups as I am terrified it might get discontinued. A fragrance fantasy and an intoxication of the senses Estée Lauder’s Beyond Paradise Eau De Parfum transports you to a perfect world of optimism and wonder. After reading the rave reviews here and being cognizant of the award winning status of Beyond Paradise, I decided that it was time to try this fragrance.
