I do feel that the lip liner is a must, thought the liquid lipstick is good, it does feather at the edges so the liner is essential to prevent bleeding with this.

I’ll be honest I’m not overly impressed with the shade selection, I really don’t like brown lips and so many of the shades pull exceptionally nude or very brown toned so if Runway hadn’t been in this selection I probably wouldn’t have bothered with these. I’m lovin’ the Runway lipstick shade, and it’s a shame that it’s limited edition because I’d love to try it.Something I wish Barry M had of done is release lip liners for ALL the shades, as the Runway one is amazing and it is such a shame it’s only limited edition for 3 shades. I found when first applied it takes a minute or two before it dries completely and looks perfectly opaque and even. Before I talk more about the formula I also want to talk about two more shades from the permanent range of the Matte Me Up range. They don’t smudge easily and due to this they’re just as hard to remove with make up removers, UNLESS they contain oil! I think I’ve got nothing by Barry M but a lipgloss that someone gave me as a present lol, but I got the Pop Up shade and I’m in LOVE ! Our strict policy means that within our company and our supply chain, we do not tolerate cosmetics animal testing. The lip paint is thin, dries quickly without sucking the moisture out of your lips and gives a smooth finish. The lip liner is lighter than the liquid lipstick however, that works so you don’t have an obvious outline. The lip liner is smooth and creamy to apply, doesn’t drag and gives a great definition with no bleeding around the lips into any lip lines. It glides on easily with no dragging and is comfortable to wear on its own without the liquid lip liner.

Worn on it’s own there’s minimal transfer and it feels comfortable for a few hours before the lips feel a little dry. I've tried quite a few other Barry M products and I've always been happy with them but this has been one of the poorer quality products I've purchased, I have to admit. It's non-drying, ultra-long wearing formula is easy to apply and will leave lips with a gorgeously bold finish!
