About this deal

Hanna knew that her mother just wanted to get rid of her so that she could clean their beautiful house all day and have Alex to herself. Especially when there’s a breathtaking vista, a full-service chef and housekeeper, a cozy fire to keep you warm, and others to keep you company. The only thing that really saves it is the Audible narration, which kept me invested, if for no other reason than to hear someone tell me a story while gardening. The characters didn't develop besides the father actually opening his eyes to the situation, the mother and daughter pretty much are the same person from beginning to end. Mia and Finn are busy turning a derelict house into their dream home when Mia unexpectedly falls pregnant.

The daughter of two loving parents, Hanna has been raised since birth by her stay-at-home mother and doted on by her loving father. Unnerving and unputdownable, BABY TEETH will get under your skin and keep you trapped in its chilling grip until the shocking conclusion.

Just as we start to get answers, just as we finally move out of the wash-rinse-repeat cycle of Hannah’s escalating schemes and get somewhere it stops. With the unwanted media attention now surrounding her, it's only a matter of time before someone from her long hidden past recognizes her and destroys the new life she's worked so hard to build, along with any chance of a future. This book is heady, it pulls you into it, capturing so beautifully love and longing, particularly between women. She pressed her palm against her tingling abdomen and made herself smile as the new doctor gusted in, grayer than the last one. If we only saw and heard Hannah from the parents’ perspective, the tension could have built and the paranoia been used to better effect.

When she shows up at a Montana gas station, clutching an infant and screaming for help, investigators believe she may have been abducted by a cult.Defiant and anti-social, she refuses to behave in kindergarten classes, forcing Suzette to homeschool her. She is the fierce protector of her five-year-old brother, Robin, and the parent to her mother, Star, a single mom incapable of taking care of herself, let alone her two kids. And as Hanna’s subtle acts of cruelty threaten to tear her and Alex apart, Suzette fears her very life may be in grave danger. This dark, terrifying novel unfolds as a battle of wits between a struggling mother and her psychotic young daughter—and its genius is that the reader’s allegiance isn’t allowed to linger too long on either side. Baby Teeth is no holds barred in its’ brutality but it works and seems plausible in the narrative that Zoje Stage has set up.
