Well, to be sure, Ekrin didn’t touch neither of the stall force or the amplitude. But they did touch something. BFR training is now known as an alternative method to improve muscle endurance. There is a limited flow of oxygen to the muscles during this form of training, which makes the slow-twitch Type I muscle fibers less active than normal. To make up for this, the Type II, anaerobic muscle fibers are activated. Usually, this happens with high-intensity training but with restricted blood flow, you can get the same result, which helps you build muscle endurance.

Honorable Mention: Theragun Pro The Theragun PRO is one of the strongest massage guns and by far the best-equipped one. We hope for an option to extend the warranty. It would be awesome to have this because it means a brand is willing to stand behind their product. We wouldn’t mind paying for such a thing. Theragun comes with 6 attachments compared to Achedaway Pro’s 4. Even so, the Theragun heads are soft (a bit spongy), while the Achedaway Pro has quality heads made of metal. But then there’s dynamic cupping, a form of cupping that involves full range motions sport-specific movement. Some people do not care those marks from cupping. Famous swimmer Michael Phelps often takes those marks to participate in competitions, and he has mentioned many times in interviews that he is keen on cupping therapy, while there are people who do not like cupping marks to be displayed in public.

High-amplitude devices, such as Theragun, Bob and Brad D6 and Achedaway Pro tend to rev slower but offer deeper hits. Devices like Ekrin B37s offer more intensity (faster percussions) but don’t hit as deep. Both approaches are equally effective. The blood flow restriction training might be the next fitness trend with lots of promising benefits, some of which are explained below. However, there’s a third aspect to be considered here, and that’s the stall force. Sometimes a gun may have a higher stall force but a shorter amplitude and consequently a much higher percussion range. This Achedaway Pro review wouldn’t be complete without making comparisons to some of the key competitors, including the original Achedaway. So, how does the Pro compare with its predecessor? We compiled a few points. Here you go! Depending on the level you want, you can easily control the suction intensity by pressing the suction button a few times. You can also use the app (we’ll talk about it in a few) to change the intensity. The red color bars will indicate which level you’re at. Cupping traces you will get when using Achedaway Cupper. attachments is welcome but there’s no carrying case. The small pouches for attachments don’t count in our opinion. The matte finish both looks nice and isn’t slippery as glossy plastic can be. The holding positions are comfortable and the heft of the unit helps to keep the unit from vibrating uselessly and provides a bit of pressure to help hold it to the muscle. At the same time, it’s not too heavy for when a lighter touch is needed.

Another adjustment that Ekrin made is they increased the percussion range to 2000-3200. The B37 now revs across 5 speed gears. The fifth gear is a special one that cycles through previous speeds in intervals of 30 seconds. There’s something interesting about their battery design though. When you remove the battery, instead of it coming off with the handle, only the battery comes out. We thought this would make the device less compact, especially when you are travelling. Opove advertises a 70lbs. stall force, and when we tested it, it felt just slightly lower, somewhere between 45-50lbs. But, given its price point, this is still well above average. Although this is less than Theragun Pro (2.9lbs.), it is noticeably more than the Ekrin B37s (2.2lbs.). Nevertheless, we believe the extra weight is mainly due to its large capacity battery (more on that later). We love the device, it’s absolutely worth it – but we’d love to see some little improvements in the future.

TOP RATED RECOVERY TOOL IN THE WORLD...

Hypervolt 2 Pro is a good massage gun and we will be recommending it somewhere else. But today we won’t. We feel the price is somewhat high and it doesn’t offer anything special over our other choices. The Theragun Pro can have a prayer with its rotating arm and triangular design and all, but the Hypervolt simply doesn’t cut it. We verified Hypervolt 2 Pro’s stroke length. It is 14mm indeed. Too bad it’s not 30% more powerful. It suffices to say that considering how crazy things have gone on since then, with thousands of similar products flooding the market, Achedaway has done pretty well to stay competitive. With well over 30lbs. of pressure needed to stall the motor, the Bantam is harder to stall than many full-sized guns. To give you an example, the tiny Bantam rivals full-sized Theragun Prime, which needs 30lbs of pressure to stall. But guess what, I have a perfect match for you: the Theragun Pro ( our review here). It combines a lot of power, high amplitude, a triangle ergonomic shape, Bluetooth, and the prestige of a premium brand – all in one device. And after they released the 5th gen, it’s even quieter than all three of those you mentioned. Only the price might be a bit steep :/
