Roboute Guilliman, primarch of the Ultramarines, reflecting upon the state of the Imperium of the 41st Millennium and his devotion to the Emperor of Mankind For even before the Emperor's arrival, Roboute Guilliman, it is said, had dwelt much on the ancient histories contained from his world's deposed aristocracy, and the fragments he found there telling of the ancient domains of Mankind, and he had begun to dream of new horizons and new worlds to conquer, of a domain "beyond the seas of night" or to use the ancient scholarly form found in the text -- "Ultramar". Some pilgrims claimed that the grievous wound was slowly healing, though such an action was physically impossible within an activated stasis field. The Avenging Son was silently enthroned through the millennia as his father's Imperium decayed around him, waiting until such a time when one could come with the power to restore him. And that time has come. Upon his return to the capital, Roboute found a coup was underway. Konor had been overthrown by his co-Consol, Gallan. Guilliman and his forces were able to lift the siege of the city before rushing to his adoptive father’s side to witness Konor’s dying moments. With his last breath Konor told Roboute of Gallan’s treachery. Sometime before the Battle of Thessala Guilliman tasked the Tech-Priest Belisarius Cawl with two deeds: the resurrection of Guilliman should he fall and the creation of a next generation of Space Marines. [17]

Sam: “As the most iconic figure of the Horus Heresy, Horus needed to have a really strong pose – one that would show the majesty of the Warmaster. He is stood upon the head of an Imperial Eagle with his mace Worldbreaker, guiding the Imperium forward. Based on both John Blanche and Neil Roberts artwork, his armour – the Serpent’s Scales – is adorned with Luna Wolves and Sons of Horus iconography, and can be painted in the colours of either legion.” Mortarion, Primarch of the Death Guard Upon his resurrection at the end of the 41st Millennium Guilliman continued to use the Hand of Dominion but took up the Emperor's Sword as his primary weapon. In addition, he now wears the Armour of Fate, the very device that allowed him to heal the injuries sustained by Fulgrim ten thousand years earlier. Let them bestride the galaxy like the gods of old, sheltering Mankind from destruction at the hands of an uncaring universe. Fresh conquests were immediate, as the newly named Ultramarines rapidly expanded their range out from Macragge, identifying suitable targets for Compliance and singling out xenos holds for eradication. Interrupted only when called upon to join larger campaigns by the will of the Emperor, for nearly a century the 12th Expeditionary Fleet ranged as far to the galactic north as the dead expanse where the Dominion of Storms ended and as far to the galactic east and south as the point of Ultima Thule, where the stars paled and emptied out into the limitless darkness of the exo-galactic void. Why do you want to know who the 2nd and 11th primarchs were? Why do you need to know who they were? Why the sudden interest? There are 18 primarchs and 18 legions. There never was a 2nd or 11th legion, or primarchs thereof. This model comes as 44 components, and is supplied with a 60mm Round sculpted base depicting Guilliman standing astride a broken Imperial eagle, flanked by 2 burning torches. refrence to raise the combat confusion with clarity, to banish doubt and reinforce a legionary’s purpose. Psychically, the Emperor of Mankind informed Roboute that he was the last hope for mankind. The Primarch declared himself Lord Commander of the Imperium and Imperial Regent, taking direct control of the Imperium of Man.

As the Great Rift's cataclysmic birth following the fall of Cadia disrupted interstellar travel and communications and the Noctis Aeterna closed like a shroud upon the galaxy, Guilliman moved swiftly to stabilise the faltering Imperium. He turned to Belisarius Cawl once more to complete a plan that had been over 10,000 standard years in the making, since the end of the Horus Heresy and Guilliman's last tenure as the Imperium's lord commander.

In the aftermath of the Great Betrayal, the Emperor had been incapacitated, and the Space Marines' numbers had been decimated by defections to Chaos and battle losses. The Ultramarines were left as the largest loyal legion, and Guilliman assumed the title of Lord Commander of the Imperium. For years thereafter, Guilliman deployed and led the Ultramarines throughout the galaxy, reclaiming worlds lost to Chaos and preventing the loss of still others to rebellion or invasion from outside the Imperium. At the same time, Guilliman reorganized the Space Marine Legions as Chapters and composed the Codex Astartes, the tome that the Ultramarines (and many other chapters) follow strictly [Needs Citation]. Cawl had spent that time "perfecting" the Emperor's original genetic template for the Space Marines laid down before the Great Crusade, creating a new legion of hundreds of thousands of improved Astartes deep beneath the surface of his forge on Mars. This new breed of transhuman warrior, the Primaris Space Marines, were bigger, more physically powerful and possessed faster reaction times than their original Astartes counterparts. Was mortally wounded by Fulgrim after the Heresy, and put into stasis for millennia – then revivedin 999.M41 after the Fall of Cadia. Now Imperial Regent and Commander of the Imperium. After the end of the Horus Heresy, Guilliman worked to reclaim the galaxy from the hands of the traitors. He authored the Codex Astartes, a set of rules that reformed the massive Legions into smaller Space Marine chapters, to ensure no one man could ever again wield the might of the traitor Warmaster.
