One thing to note: When talking about hair colour removers, we are talking about permanent hair colour removers. Most hair colour removers work best on permanent, not semi-permanent, hair colour. For semi-permanent dye, you can either rinse it out or wait for it to fade on its own. After de-colouring your hair you can re-dye it immediately without any problem. What we like about it: You will then apply the other half of the buffer lotion from bottle C, lather it up and massage just like you would a shampoo and then rinse again till all traces are gone. SECONDLY: If your hair is heat damaged, the process may not work. So if you use very hot styling products (over 230 degrees), chances are your hair is too badly damaged for the product to be effective. Here’s a product I have used a few times before and from experience can say it does what it says on the box. As I’ve never reviewed it on my blog and I wasn’t totally happy with the depth of my colour from the other day I thought I’d share with you how to use it and my thoughts on the whole process.

When colouring the hair to the same or to a darker shade new synthetic pigment molecules are added to the hair’s natural pigment changing its colour. Whereas in lightening the hair’s natural colour the darker natural pigments need first to be broken down then replaced with the new synthetic pigments. We advise, and it is stated on the product instructions, everyone should perform a strand test before dyeing their hair, even if they have used the product before, as that ensures they will achieve the right result While it’s tempting to skip strand tests to save time, especially when you’re busy, strand testing is a recipe for success when dyeing naturally brown hair the perfect shade of blonde. Apply the colour to each section of hair from the roots down, ensuring all of your hair is thoroughly covered. Before we sashay out of here with our gorgeous blonde colour, here are a few final words to help keep your new colour bright and brilliant:

If you’ve taken your temporary grey hair for a spin and decide it’s the colour for you, you’ll want to prepare to dye your hair properly. Ideally, to get the best colour, you’ll have stopped dyeing your hair a few months before going grey to allow as much out-growth as possible. This will allow the bleach to lift the colour evenly, resulting in a more consistent colour when it comes to dyeing your hair grey. Please note: ColourB4 Ultimate will help to remove unwanted colour and lighten the hair, however depending on the condition of your hair, and if it has previously been coloured it may not completely remove the colour. Everyone’s period experience is different: from short periods, light flows and minor cramps to heavy bleeds and unenviable pains. But whatever your menstruation journey is, there’s a chance you’re familiar with having produced brown blood at some point or other (FYI: it’s something that’s super common). But what exactly does it mean? And is brown period blood anything to be concerned about? Once you have your gloves on and have protected your clothes (I have an old tee and jeans I use especially for colouring) empty the Activator (bottle A) into the Remover (bottle b) and shake very well. They recommend 30 seconds I believe. You really want to make sure this mixture is mixed well. Permanent hair dye replaces some of your natural hair colour molecules with artificial colour molecules. So what a hair colour remover does is get inside your hair shafts and dissolves the bonds holding the colour molecules together. It also shrinks the molecules.Once you have completed the final rinsing and finished the complete cycle of Colour B4 apply a small amount of conditioner and work it through your wet hair. Don’t leave it on, just massage it in and then rinse very well. This should at least make your hair combable and less dry. Towel dry your hair very well – sometimes it helps to use kitchen roll just to blot through the ends and soak up excess water. You are going to apply your semi permanent colour onto wet hair – I know it probably says dry but ignore that! By adding some conditioner and working it through plus leaving your hair wet you are helping to even out any porosity. Once these bonds or links have been dissolved, the artificial colour molecules have nothing to hold them in place and since they are smaller now, they can easily get out of the hair shaft through the cuticle.
