Just throw up a collection of photos that represent all different aspects of your life, and I can bet someone — a man or a woman — will connect with you on some level. There's a lot going on in the season 5 episode, "Stewie Loves Lois," but the main narrative thread follows Peter.

Sunday night ends the week with another Nico Yearwood hosted show (like Tuesday) with the best acts on the circuit. The best Family Guy episodes push boundaries and stand out, with unique premises, great jokes, and memorable moments. You must provide copyright attribution in the edit summary accompanying your translation by providing an interlanguage link to the source of your translation. And once the album opens up—like reading the sociology of Pierre Bourdieu—it’s difficult to set it down. The dual lead at 3:19 helps to illustrate the way that Memorial has added a wrinkle to the band’s sound and it all builds into the kind of melodramatic outro that I can’t get enough of.Fellowship // The Saberlight Chronicles— This album is on the Top 10(ish) without any doubt if I hadn’t only heard of it during list season. Obsidious // Iconic [October 28, 2022 via Season of Mist Records] — Coming into 2022, I knew that Iconic was going to be released and I knew that Obsidious had been formed, but I did not really know what to expect from it. They have consistently been releasing the kinds brilliant, orchestra-infused melodic death metal that inspires me for years, but what differentiates Heir of the Rising Sun from its predecessors is a tight narrative that carries the whole album, which is supported by the pillars of excellent composition and an unassailable, epic feel. But needless to say, this is the debut album of one of the brains behind the brilliant—but sadly defunct— Crimfall and it’s an interesting merging of epic metal and an almost New Wave ’80s synth sound. Disillusion // Ayam [November 4, 2022 via Prophecy Productions] — Disillusion’s Ayam is an album that does what the best Opethian progressive death metal bands have done since the early 2000s.

Xoth – “The Parasitic Orchestra” from Exogalactic — This whole album is fantastic, but I just can’t get past the totally majestic chorus in this song.Frozen Dawn // The Decline of the Enlightened Gods [February 10th, 2023 | Transcending Obscurity Records] — Spanish meloblack that cuts a path through the overly wet, overly repetitive atmoblack people with an ice pick and trem picked melodies. Anyone who doesn’t love this album should probably be investigated by the House Un-American Activities Committee. Throughout this epic romp through Wintervale, these (mostly) Swedes serve up “bombastic” and “flamboyant” songs that develop a diverse, more experimental sound than what Twilight Force trafficked in previously. This may be the first time that a one-man black metal side project (this time from Kanonenfieber’s Noise) has graced one of my Top 10(ish) lists, and that should be enough to make you sit up and take note. Sure, there’s been plenty of competition throughout the year from awesome bands who make excellent music; see the foregoing list!
