We're a drug that's entered her bloodstream and she's too high from the way we feel to ever want to willingly withdraw from us. The final book in this duet picks up where the other left off so it’s a good idea to read Triple Threat first. Over 12 episodes Stephen explores just how much we’ve learned about this mysterious structure in recent years and tries to answer some of the most difficult questions that remain. You'll fall in love with Zeus, marvel at the birth of Athena, wince at Cronus and Gaia's revenge on Ouranos, weep with King Midas and hunt with the beautiful and ferocious Artemis.

Death Wish is the second book in the Deception duet, and I was eager to dive into it after enjoying Triple Threat. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. Dark powers think Stella might have been involved and the only way she and the team can prove her innocence is to find out what the hell is really going on. But when a local property developer shows up dead, 'The Thursday Murder Club' finds themselves in the middle of their first live case.A few days later, Alix and Josie bump into each other again, this time outside Alix's children's school. Other than that i liked the story development and the ending, Landry’s relationship with the guys was amazing, and i loved Scout in this book. In this Audible Original collection, an all-star list of narrators (Billie Piper, Claire Foy, Emma Thompson, Florence Pugh and Gugu Mbatha-Raw) capture Austen’s pin-sharp humour and tone in these dramatisations of her six beloved novels accompanied by a full cast. And when Emily begins her personal investigations, Detective-Constable Sam Wilner, a smart and attractive cop—with a crush on Emily that is not completely unrequited—begins to wonder if there’s more to Emily than meets the eye.

Though I must say I like that these guys each have their own unique personalities and Landry has no problem standing up for herself against them despite how meek she was when living with her father. I loved the gradual story development, but in my opinion, it felt a little bit of a hit and miss in this second half. Webster provided us with will make even the hardest reader (I'm considered one) curl their fists and feel their stomachs ready to revolt on what their imaginative minds are seeing. The police bring Judith, Suzie and Becks in to investigate as Civilian Advisors right from the start, so they have free rein to interview suspects and follow the evidence to their heart’s content, which is perfect because Judith has no time for rules and standard procedure.
