Therefore, I wondered which rice variety was used in Amour, since each rice has its very own odor personality: musky jasmine rice? Because now I know myself and with that knowledge and a mind without fear, I look forward to what may come. The vanilla is muddled with a rather unpleasant artificial cherry blossom / heliotrope which I always find quite dominating whenever it features in a scent. The final dry down is actually quite comfy and cozy, like hay and a little really discreet vanilla touch.

I would personally describe this as smelling like an almond-vanilla dominant scent, yet almond isn’t listed among the notes?

While I was wearing it today its projection in the wind made me feel as if I was wearing a nutty version of Pour Femme because I am also sensing something slightly bright and tart here, just like in Pour Femme,alot softer here of course and it must be the cherry blossom with the frangipani mimicking the tartness of mandarin/raspberry of the Pour Femme. There is a soft, warm, creamy undercurrent, but I can’t identify it as either tea or rice and it’s completely overtaken by the florals.

Based on the reviews I have heard, I pictured it in my mind as an ultra powdery scent (which is not my favourite), but Amour turned out to be smooth, slightly sweet and quite floral (in a fresh green way). a little later i get some incense and a fair amount of musk, i think, and i do get a bit of frangipani later but this is primarily a heliotrope/vanilla scent. As a broke college student I had high hopes after reading many positive reviews of it, and I’m happy to say it didnt disappoint.
