The Prince and Princess of Wales - William and Kate - will both have a vested interest in Wales v England at the Principality Stadium on Saturday. Kate, meanwhile, was announced as patron of England's Rugby Football League and the Rugby Football Union in 2022. She took over the role from Prince Harry, who was was stripped of his patronages after confirming he would not be returning to work on behalf of the Royal Family after a year's trial away.Both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are involved in rugby through different royal roles, and have previously attended rugby matches together.
