Automatic updates could save you hours of time. you also use the source button to answer a call but to end the call you need to hold it down. Pressing the source button whilst in a call will simply put the phone into discreet mode and double tapping it will remove it from discreet mode. Installation sounded pretty simple, it pretty much plugs and plays into the parrot bluebox and then you take the Can High and low cables and put them to pins 9 and 10. Apparently they are colour matched anyway so no problems figuring out which way round! So I'm a bit stumped as to the problem and would be happy for any suggestions or to hand the car in to someone who's more familiar with these to work with. I put an SD Card in it today and it booted up normal although it says 'no audio file found' and then it proceeds to stay on the normal 'Parrot MKi9200' screen - which is further along than it was previously.After the re-boot it may be necessary to set the language version again. Simply select the required language from the listed options and press remote control centre button to set the language. The MKi9200 will then re-boot again.

If so I will have to find something else that fits the bill. Has anyone else had experience of fitting the MKI9200 to the same car as mine? Any comments would be helpful.

The newer versions have compatibility / bug fixes and have a much shorter boot sequence ( turn on time). Update preparation

Remote Pairing – Why is this necessary ?

Please note that the remote control MUST be able to be used with the MKi9200. If the remote does not work you will not be able to reset the MKi9200. All MKi remotes contain a CR2032 battery and it is common for people to forget to change them – they typically last a year to 18 months in normal use. The MKi9200 will now re-boot. Please note that sometimes it will refuse to erase memory. Simply turn off the MKi9200 and try again. it uses the five button configaration and the 5 you use are up and down on the volume, up and down selectors and the source button (the one in the bottom right of the set of buttons on the left)
