This black and grey character jumpsuit features muscle chest details and comes complete with detachable wings and a latex character goggles. Cut a large half moon out of felt, then cut several black, white, and gray “feathers” and adhere them to the half moon (both sides) with hot glue or double-sided fabric tape in rows, working from the bottom up. I made them exactly 1" minus two thicknesses of foam core so they would act as spacers for the two foam core pieces when everything was glued together. It required a lot of coaxing and holding things in place while they dried but everything went together better than I expected! Larger sizes can always be altered with a tailor; if it's too small though, an alteration won't help. This is probably the least accurate section of the costume and I do want to go back and redo it, but it still looked fine once it was all painted up.

Luckily a friend of mine scours neighborhood cleanups for greeblies for his builds and grabbed me two saucers. The modern design of the suit also featured a patriotic flag on the chest but didn’t include much else that referenced the character’s original looks.
