Description

Steel Clubbells will complement traditional barbell training and other sports, particularly those in which imbalances can develop through repetitive, one-sided movements. Do this every time you set up to exercise, even if you’re working in a space you’ve used before. It’s incredibly simple to step a half-meter to one side without realising it. I understand what you’re saying 100%, but I bet if you give it a few weeks, you won’t regret your decision. The 10’s would certainly be an easier transitional weight, but you would likely outgrow them in a matter of weeks. The 15’s will be a good weight indefinitely – you’ll never outgrow them. As mentioned further above, rotational movements will create tractional force, which is great for your joints. It’s also excellent for improving core strength.

If you don’t know how to perform some of the exercises properly, especially the more complex ones, you can risk injury. Again, this is something that relates to almost all of weightlifting. All joking aside, I never took physics, but I completely disagree with that statement. Even if all three of those 10 lb tools were identical in dimensions (and thus, force production), which is extremely improbable due to their mass to weight ratio, that statement still wouldn’t be true. Length, on the other hand, is extremely important. Clubs that are too short will have a strange weight distribution that can be hard to swing effectively. Clubs that are too long can hit each other, you, or things around you. A pair of 15LB clubs will be good for an athlete looking for coordination, agility, and strength-endurance benefits. The steel club will greatly improve sports performance as most sports require exceptional balance and coordination. This is why you see a lot of unilateral training in athletic programs, and a big reason the athletic community is taking to the steel club like no other. 8. Core Stability through Anti-Rotational ExercisesADVICE & A WARNING: Ease into this, and I mean ease into it. Take your time with this 2-headed dragon. Your knees will hurt if you overdo it, so just plain don't overdo it! Available in a broad range of weight increments to suit any level and ability: 2kg, 4kg, 6kg, 8kg, 10kg, 12kg, 15kg, and 20kg. And, again, be careful and take your time. If all you've ever done is bodybuilding or power training, your first foray onto the mat will be humiliating at best. Just go with it. You will learn more about "you" that first few times than any shrink could ever offer in months of couch time. And it's way cheaper. With that being said, if you can afford a range of sizes, then definitely go for it. You will be able to explore a wider variety of drills, both strength and high volume training. Tough enough to be used for striking drills, easy enough to swing that you can use it for mobility, the Gorilla Sports club is an awesome blend of tradition and tech.

However, for more complex movements geared toward shoulder mobilization i prefer wooden clubs for two reasons. The rotational movements and effort used to balance the Clubbells is a key element in developing core strength. Whether you use just one club or two, you will be stimulating your muscles through varied movement patterns. The advantage that the clubbell has over other weight swinging tools is in its innovation and design standards. Simply put, the clubbell has a far superior design and higher quality standards over other weight swinging tools. And for those who currently have healthy shoulders, elbows, and wrists, but are at high risk (i.e. athletes and weightlifters), steel club training is the perfect tool for prehab. Use them before warming up for compressive exercises and you will have a much lower risk of injury. 4. Multi-planar movement When you hold onto a reasonable weight, it pulls down on your arms, extending your joints and stretching out the connective tissues. The main exercises are 360s and 10 to 2s, which are great exercises for core strength & stability, powerful & mobile shoulders, and crushing grip strength. There are literally countless ways the mace can be used to target all areas of the body through compound movements, which is truly the beauty of this fantastic unconventional training tool.

What will you get out of it? As bodybuilders, the first and most important gain will be awesome grip strength and shoulder stability. It will translate to things like military press increases and bench press stability within weeks of starting. You'll like the results. By performing a single arm exercise with a steel club, you are combining unilateral training and offset training, which is like a double whammy for improving balance, coordination and core stability. The steel club has a lot of similar benefits to the steel mace, albeit it’s not as versatile in terms of altering difficulty and the number of exercises out there to follow. The traditional length for Indian clubs is around the length from your armpit to your wrist. Hang on, which material is the best? A kettlebell is made from cast iron or steel and shaped into a ball with a handle attached at the top. It closely resembles a cannonball that has a handle on top or a teapot without the sprout. How are kettlebells used?

Trains the body in a unilateral, offset manner, which is the perfect kind of training for athletes. Note: be sure to brainwash your children at an early age to make sure they know clubbells are the best (see left). If you don’t want to buy 3 different clubs at once, you can easily get away with either a pair of lighter steel clubs or a singly heavier club for two-handed work. This all depends on your goals… With a variety of movements and infinite possibilities, Steel Clubs can be used to train all aspects of fitness, including strength, conditioning, and balance. They are also an excellent addition to more traditional methodologies like barbell training, allowing you to enhance your functional capabilities through full body exercises.
