Of course, if you have read any of my reviews of ANYTHING by Nora Roberts, you know I am a HUGE fan. It also relied way too heavily on this magical "I just know things" train of thought vomit to explain the world and events. Even at the very end, when things are wrapping up, I appreciated how Nora wrote it but still didn’t feel anything regarding that central romance.

Soon the enemy’s witches begin to appear to Breen in her sleep, practicing black magick, sacrificing the innocent, and plotting brutal destruction. It’s slow and the “choices” that Breen makes are not very dramatic and not very interesting quite frankly. Her grandfather, the dark god Odran, has been defeated in his attempt to rule over Talamh, and over Breen--for now.
